La Trochita

A very narrow rail train in its original state whistles along the Andean valleys ever since 1945. Its machinery dates from late XIX century. You will travel back to the past on this small rolling museum which delights passengers travelling from Esquel to Los Antiguos.  An enchanting journey on board old wooden wagons along the narrow rails which are only separated by 75 cm. The old Patagonian Express is one of the jewels of this charming Shire.

This nostalgic express will take you through the Patagonian valleys and plateaus to Nahuel Pan station (2,30 h. ride) and also between Esquel and El maitén (6 h. ride).

The charming beauty of this train and the stunning landscape make this ride one of the most popular adventures among visitors from all over the world.
